This is Andrea.

Healer. Writer. Mother. Wife.

She has been studying health and wellness for 20 years.

Andrea grew up as a trained dancer following her dreams to pursue professional dance. Repetitive injury and a deep disconnect from choreographed movement moved her in a different direction. This is where she found yoga.

She trained in Ashtanga, Modo and Yoga as Therapy. Studying Anatomy, Physiology, Ayurveda, Somatic Yoga, and Meditation. Mind Body connection took root.

Training one on one with her teacher Sharon, Andrea found Energy Medicine. A Black Woman Healer rooted in Traditional Medicine from Ghana, Sharon worked with her one on one for 7 years and continues to be her biggest support system today.

Sharon taught her to work with familial trauma and karmic healing. Andrea believes healing her family first and foremost through Traditional Medicine is foundational.

Andrea then met Western Herbalist Lise Wolff, who supported the Grassroots movement to make Minnesota the first place to allow the practice of Herbalism. She trained with Lise in 2018 to become a Clinical Herbalist.

To bring these pieces into a unified body of work Andrea became a certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Specializing in Hormone Health, Gut Health she searched for root causes. She believes most of what ails us can be transformed through our daily relationship to food.

The property Andrea’s family owns is located on Dakota land. As stewards of this land and in order to honor the First Peoples whose land was stolen, a portion of all proceeds will be donated. Refer to the Land Acknowledgment via Women’s Circle page.

Educating ourselves outside of the patriarchy allows us freedom and a deeper understanding of how humans should truly live. This education is how Andrea believes will heal generations.

“When we forge our own path we are forced to drop the conditioning. How many boxes have you tried to squeeze into? What did it feel like and how did you set yourself free? It’s when we can look this very life square in the eyes and claim every lost piece as our way forward.”
